Designed Donations for Chair-ity

A group of Marmon Mok designers were tasked to re-purpose chairs for the Chair-ity Gala benefiting Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio. The firm donated two sets for the silent auction:

  • An action packed kids table and chairs set that was decoupaged with favorite comic book heroes.
  • Vintage chairs that were reupholstered by Stephen McCune

Currently, Marmon Mok is designing a new Ronald McDonald House, to be located in the Medical Center, that will provide a “home-away-from-home” for families who must travel outside of their community to receive medical treatment at nearby medical facilities.

Marmon Mok Architecture | Design. Done.

Design. Done. It’s the gestation of an idea. A sketch or a scribble. The jotting down of a notion or a fleeting moment of inspiration-a murky, unformed possibility that came in a dream. Marmon and Mok had those dreams in the beginning and sixty three years later, we still do.
