Through market research and discussions with current residents, plans and fundraising were accomplished for a new, mid-rise independent living facility on the Incarnate Word campus. The scope of this project focused on four primary goals: expansion to the Independent Living apartment complex, replacement of Centennial Hall, provision for an alternative casual dining venue, and enhancement and preservation of green space and parking. Marmon Mok enhanced the facility expanding residential unit layout options, improving interior finishes and including attractive amenities such as an indoor and outdoor informal dining, a multi-purpose banquet hall, a bistro/warming kitchen for an alternative dining experience, a wellness center/spa, marketing office and resident services.
