Marmon Mok provided programming and design services for the School of Health Professions, the Student Health Clinic, and Counseling Services on the second and third floors of the “R” section of the Dental School. Departments of Emergency Health Services, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and the Dean of Health Professions will be consolidated within the renovated space. A new Speech Therapy Program and student study/collaborative learn spaces will also be incorporated. Marmon Mok also assessed the programs within the original School of Nursing two story building. Our team met with stakeholders to define the departmental needs and understand spacial relations, adjacencies, and utilizations. Upon establishing the program spaces, floor plan concepts were developed for each floor.
