Architectural Designer/Intern, full-time, with 3-5 years of experience, minimum. This role is primarily in-office, with a limited ability to work from home per company policy.

This position requires: a responsible individual who is passionate about design and the environment, who has strong design sensibilities, a strong work ethic, and is able to work in a team and maintain communications and expectations.

You should have a strong design sensibility and appreciation for the design process, and an understanding that architectural design is a collaborative process that occurs within a team.

Previous experience working for an architecture firm preferred.


Typical responsibilities will include supporting and/or assisting in the preparation of materials and drawings for schematic design, design development, contract documents, and marketing purposes. Researching various project related topics, communicating concepts via graphics, spreadsheets, or written narratives. Assisting with site analysis, programming space adjacencies, conceptual building layouts, and developing building concepts including architectural expression.

Skill Set:

  • Architecture program graduate from an accredited institution
  • Creative, problem-solving mindset, and interest and passion for design
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about current design trends
  • Collaborative, proactive, curious, and professional
  • Software:
    • Revit and AutoCAD fluency
    • SketchUp familiarity
    • Adobe (Photoshop), InDesign and Illustrator
    • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong graphic abilities and design sense
  • Experience with building quality physical models
  • The following will be considered a plus:
    • Writing and research skills
    • Photography skills, including understanding of composition and lighting.
    • Familiarity with parametric design software, such as Grasshopper
    • Familiarity w 3d printing and small-scale fabrication
