At The Hispanic Contractors Association 2017 Diversity Awards Gala, recognizing diversity excellence in the contracting/construction industry in San Antonio, Marmon Mok was awarded the Diversity Award as Architect/Designer of the Year.
The Marmon Mok team had fun and held its own at the SA Sports Foundation Corporate Cup in June. Our tug-of-war team beat out significant competition & entered the semi-final round. Thanks to our chairman, Catharine Klepac & our own barbeque king, Bibi Nunez, for the delicious fajitas.
Marmon Mok is currently designing three community projects for the City of El Paso with our teaming partner Exigo Architecture: the Alameda Recreation Center/Library, Chamizal Recreation Center/Library, and Lomaland Recreation Center. All of these bond projects are part of El Paso’s efforts to improve quality of life and wellness to neighborhoods throughout El Paso. Our planning and design process is including numerous meetings with the community and stakeholders.
We are proud to announce that Tiffany Robinson Long and Jennifer Parlett in our healthcare practice have passed their examination for Evidenced-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). This research and knowledge of evidence-based design seeks to gauge the impact of specific designs on patient outcomes, productivity, and employee and patient morale in hospital and healthcare environments.
Congratulations to Steve Souter and all of the volunteers and staff who organized the “2017 Make it your Missions” gala last night to benefit the preservation and development of San Antonio Missions Historical Park.
We are proud to announce that Tiffany Robinson Long, AIA is the new chair of the San Antonio chapter of the American Institute of Architects Healthcare Knowledge Community.
We are proud to announce that our design team is working on the Frost Regional Office in Tarrant County. These offices are located in Downtown Fort Worth, TX.
On Friday, November 4th, Bill Reeves and Mary Bartlett joined Carl Bush and Erica Noriega from Frost for a presentation on the Transitioning of a Traditional Workplace to a New Collaborative Model.
