Description:

Interior Designer, full-time, with +/-5 years of experience, or more. This role is primarily in-office, with a limited ability to work from home per company policy.

This role is likely to include supporting both mid and large-scale healthcare as well as municipal projects.

This position requires a responsible individual who is passionate about design and the environment, who has strong design sensibilities and a strong work ethic, and who can work in a team and maintain communications and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the design team to develop interior solutions for healthcare and/or civic projects (office buildings, libraries, and other public facilities)
  • Perform all phases of the interior design process, including supporting marketing efforts, programming, design, and documentation, through construction administration and client move-in.
  • Participate in, and be prepared to lead, FFE activities including selections, specifications, and procurement.
  • Support and participate in design presentations to stakeholders, including the preparation of presentation materials (sample and color boards, digital presentations, plans, and renderings) as well as make presentations to clients.
  • Develop installation drawings and related documentation.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree from an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program
  • +/- 5 years of experience, or more. Experience with healthcare interiors is preferred, and civic/municipal projects are a plus.
  • NCIDQ Certification and Professional registration in Texas preferred.
  • LEED, WELL, and/or EDAC accreditation a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare codes and regulations
  • Software:
    • Revit fluency
    • AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape familiarity
    • Bluebeam familiarity
    • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Adobe (Photoshop), InDesign and Illustrator a plus
  • Public speaking and writing skills a plus.
  • Strong graphic abilities and design sense
  • Creative, problem-solving mindset, and interest and passion for design
  • Collaborative, proactive, curious, and professional
