Due to its rapid growth, Alamo Colleges needed to enhance its facilities to sustain the increasing student population. Working closely with campus leadership, Marmon Mok created a long-term plan for one new and four existing campuses to reflect their vision and set the foundation for the 25 years to come. The five Master Plans establish a framework for future academic programmatic requirements, enhancing infrastructure, parking, wayfinding, spatial organization, access and traffic while integrating sustainability goals. At the same time, our team assessed the existing facilities and site to identify priorities and opportunities for a future Capital Improvements Bond. Marmon Mok updated the campuses to become a setting for innovation and learning for the 21st century and provide a lively campus environment with a strong feeling of identity and place.
