Marmon Mok designed a community services building that houses probation offices, counseling programs, and work and community training programs for troubled youth in the San Antonio area. The goal of the county staff was to create a facility that provides an environment of proactive counseling and training, and a positive atmosphere of hope for the future for children who have been in trouble and inspiration for the dedicated staff. Our design provided a more inviting environment with open spaces, natural light, and outside views. Our team also enhanced security by consolidating the entry point to allow for better monitoring and implemented sustainable design and several energy-efficiency measurements.
