Methodist Healthcare is making an investment in one of its properties in the  South Texas Medical Center. The San Antonio-based organization, owned by Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas Inc. and HCA Healthcare, engaged Marmon Mok’s design services for an exterior refresh of its Methodist Hospital Specialty & Transplant campus with the potential for additional improvements and expansion. The aesthetic makeover will feature a more colorful and welcoming color palette. Campus signage will be updated to align with the hospital system’s more contemporary branding.

The planned improvements will give the Methodist Specialty & Transplant Hospital a brand new look, as well as the adjacent Texas Transplant Institute building and a multi-story parking garage. These changes will more closely align with the significant improvements Methodist has made to its other medical centers, including its flagship and children’s hospitals.
