The San Antonio International Airport Ground Transportation Center introduces a new precast concrete parking structure with an integrated Ground Transportation Center located at the ground level. Together, these elements improve commercial curbside operations while expanding the airport’s on-site parking capacity. The Ground Transportation Center serves as a centralized and intuitive access point for passengers using taxis, rideshare services, and shuttle buses.

The Ground Transportation Center lobby includes dedicated support spaces for operations and provides a comfortable, climate-controlled environment for travelers and staff. Interior finishes such as flooring, ceilings, and wall treatments are carefully coordinated with the existing Terminal C pedestrian breezeway to create a seamless visual and spatial connection, reinforcing a cohesive passenger experience.

At the ground level, approximately 2,900 linear feet of curbside accommodates a full range of commercial vehicles up to 40 feet in length. Above, the seven-level parking structure provides approximately 2,570 spaces, with an average of 425 spaces per level across six parking levels. The top level is designed with the structural capacity to support future Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing operations, positioning the airport to adapt to emerging mobility technologies.
