A new corporate campus in a prominent hill top site in La Cantera was part of a strategic vision for Security Service Federal Credit Union. Concurrent with the programming phase, Marmon Mok also developed a long-range master plan for the facility. Two main considerations determined the building’s architectural design. The first consideration was an appropriate response to the captivating beauty of the site. The second consideration was a response to the owner’s directive that the building’s floor plates be generic and economical. It became evident that an uncomplicated, straightforward solution would address both issues. The American Institute of Architects recognized the building for Design Excellence.
