The new facility enhances the UT Health – San Antonio recognition as a Top-Tier Dental School institution which incorporates future technology for exemplary education, training and patient care. The expanded facility will improve the Dental School’s ability to provide multi-specialty care and training in one location with an enhanced patient experience. The design of the new facility enhances the “UT Medicine” brand and integrates with adjacent buildings to create a unified campus.
The facility includes comprehensive dentistry, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery suites, periodontics, simulation labs, radiology, clinical research space and faculty practice areas. The vision is to attract additional patients and ensure the school’s ability to obtain and conduct clinical research, sustaining continued excellence in education. Ultimately, the goal for the new facility is to provide oral health care for the region. The design incorporates the latest technology and will have a patient-centered approach.
