The VA and Marmon Mok have more than a 35-year project relationship. This facility is one of five Polytrauma Centers in the United States focusing on wounded warriors with multiple traumas. Planetree design principles were incorporated with a focus on honoring patient dignity and the healing experience.
Outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services are offered with a focus on activities of daily living and wounded warrior gymnasium. State-of-the-art technologies include a Gait Study Lab. The results of this lab are used to determine the effectiveness of a prosthetic device and used to drive the decision-making process for patient treatment. Twelve private inpatient rooms with ceiling-mounted patient lifts and family areas. Adjacent Day Room and Dining/Living areas encourage social interaction and family involvement.
