In association with Populous, Marmon Mok designed the University of Texas at San Antonio’s new home for the Track and field and Soccer teams. Nestled within the vibrant campus, the Park West Fieldhouse emerges as a beacon of athletic excellence, blending cutting-edge design with a deep appreciation for the university’s rich sporting heritage.

Designed to cater to the needs of UTSA’s track and field and soccer teams, as well as local sports clubs and visiting teams, the fieldhouse stands as a testament to the university’s commitment to fostering athletic achievement and community engagement. The Park West Fieldhouse features three team locker rooms, a large training room with hydrotherapy, a visiting team locker room, referee lockers, and a team meeting room.

The main entrance, at the south façade, leads to the lobby space and a dual-function circulation space. The space will serve as a Hall of Fame and showcase the achievements of UTSA student-athletes throughout history. The Park West Fieldhouse represents more than just a state-of-the-art athletic facility; it embodies the spirit of excellence, collaboration, and community that defines the University of Texas at San Antonio. Through its innovative design, comprehensive amenities, and commitment to honoring the university’s sporting heritage, the complex sets a new standard for athletic excellence and serves as a source of inspiration and pride for generations of Roadrunners to come.
