Texas A&M University Student Recreation Center Expansion Awarded

Marmon Mok led the design team for the original Student Recreation Center at Texas A&M University – College Station, which went on to win several design awards when completed in 1995. Almost 20 years later, Marmon Mok is excited to announce being awarded the new expansion project which will include a new gymnasium, aquatics facility, activity rooms, multipurpose banquet room and fitness/weight areas. 01-15-13

Convention Center Team on Fast Track Schedule

As part of the Hunt/Zachry Joint Venture team, the Populous and Marmon Mok design team is hard at work on the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center expansion project, a $325 million design-build contract, the largest civic construction project in San Antonio’s history.  01-02-13

Tobin Performance Center Topping Out Ceremony

The project team on the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts signed the very last and only purple steel beam to be lifted to the building and placed at the pinnacle of the structure. In association with LMN Architects, Marmon Mok is providing architectural services for the adaptive reuse of the 4,500-seat, 1920s era Municipal Auditorium into a “world class” performing arts center. 12-06-12

Marmon Mok honored with Texas Treasure Business Award

Senator Leticia Van de Putte (D-San Antonio) recently recognized Marmon Mok as a Texas Treasure on the House floor of the State Capitol in Austin. Our very own Steve Souter was there to receive the honor given to companies with over 50 years of business in the State of Texas.01-23-2013
