El Paso Chamizal Recreational Center & Library

Chamizal Recreation Center and Library is a recently completed project in El Paso whose design provides much-needed recreation and library facilities to the Chamizal neighborhood. The center is home to a variety of amenities, including a gymnasium, fitness center, game room, library, and outdoor courtyard. The project’s notable Instagram-worthy feature is located on the exterior with a back-lit mural installation by artist Jesus “CIMI” Alvarado. The mural depicts the history of the Chamizal neighborhood and its importance to the El Paso community and makes for a great backdrop day or night!

Texas A&M University Student Recreation Center Outdoor Plaza

If you’re an Aggie or a fan of the university, you’ll adore this spot! The Texas A&M University Student Recreation Center is a vast facility covering 160,000 square feet and offers amenities such as a gymnasium, fitness center, swimming pool, rock wall, and an outdoor plaza. The outdoor plaza is a favorite hangout spot for students, where they can unwind, socialize, and snap pictures with the Kyle Field signage in the background, along with the Aggie Baseball Fields.
